The Fair Committee are looking at radical ways to reduce expenditure to try and conserve ‘The Best Day of the Year’ for future years.
Providing a grandstand and not making a loss would push ticket prices up to an untenable level. Instead, we shall arrange to put out seats for those unable to stand throughout the crowning ceremony and these will be placed on the grass ensuring a good view. This seating will be for ticket holders only. The tickets will go on sale in the same way as in previous years.
