We received this nice letter today and it goes to show someone appreciates the work that has gone into developing the website.
Thank you for such an interesting and amazing website. My mum told me about this when I was a little girl and I have been researching Bo’ness Coop which my grandfather worked for in the early 1930s when I came across a photo of the Fair.
I found her name with your really useful Character search – she was a Fairy back in 1934. It meant a lot to her at 6 and even though her family moved to Campbeltown and then Blairgowrie with her dad getting promoted in the Coop she never forgot and told me so many stories about this. She is now 96 and I can’t wait to remind her of the Bo’ness Fair!
